All Natural Dog Treats For Husky Puppies

If you are like so many concerned pet owners, you may be feeding you husky puppies all natural pet products. The number of pet owners feeding their pets all natural dog food and all natural dogs has been on the rise mainly because of the recent pet food recalls. Pet owners are staying informed and they are keeping a watchful eye on what their pets are ingesting. This is especially true of new puppy owners.

All new puppy owners want their puppies to receive the proper nutrition as they growing to ensure their  health and development. If you have a new husky puppy then this article will give you some great insight on all natural pet products, particularly all natural dog treats.

I started feeding my husky puppies SOJOS dog treats by Sojourner Farms, a few months ago and they just love them! These dog biscuits are one of the most popular brands of all natural dog treats that you’ll find on the market today. One of the best things about these all natural dog treats is that are baked fresh everyday. They are available in a variety of sizes and flavors so they are great for both puppies and adult dogs. I started giving my husky puppies the good dog treats and as they grew up I switched them over to the big dog treats. The good dog treats are great for puppies because they are small and fit perfectly in their little mouths. The big dog treats are great for adult Siberian huskies. Huskies are big dogs and they certainly have “big appetities!”

Another important feature of the dog biscuits made at SOJOS is that they are wheat and corn-free. Wheat and corn have been know tobe hard for dogs to digest. SOJOS replaces these ingredients with flours such as rye flour because this type of flour is easier on a dogs stomach. Many of their dog biscuits also include healthy, nutritional ingredients such as carrots and broccoli.

If you have husky puppies at home they will eventually grow up to be big dogs and the BIG DOG Gourmet Dog Treats by Sojos are a great choice! These all natural dog treats are wheat & corn-free and come in two delicious flavors: Beef Stew and Biscuits and Gravy. The large dog bone shape makes them a satisfying snack for the big dog in your life.

How To Puppy Proof Your Home For New Alaskan Husky Puppies

When you first bring your new Alaskan husky puppies home they will probably be a bit timid as they explore their new surroundings. However, you may want to brace yourself because as soon as they are comfortable, which will not take long, their curiosity level will start to overcome their sweet innocence. You will want to make some preparations
around your home to ensure  the safety of your husky puppies and your belongings.

Usually, a veterinary clinic can provide a list of poisonous house plants. Certain
plants can be deadly to your puppies so it’s very important to educate yourself on this topic.  Plant leaves that are moving can be a very inviting game for your husky pups, so it’s a good idea to move all plants out of their reach. You’ll especially want to make sure that there aren’t plants left in rooms where your husky puppies may be unsupervised. It’s also a good idea to place all breakable or valuable items up out of their reach as well. Removing the items eliminates the possibility of frustration and destruction of these articles, however if you choose to leave them within reach, you must be prepared to make the appropriate corrections when your husky pups decide to investigate.

You’ll want to start training your husky puppies from the very beginning. Using a stern voice in to correct your puppies for handling inappropriate household articles is a good place to start. You don’t have to scream at them , just sternly correct them. If you see that your pups are interested or involved with an off limits item, stomp your foot, or clap your hands and use a very stern “NO” command. Most pups will almost always immediately stop the behavior. If your puppies won’t drop the item, then you must go and remove it from them. Urgent tones in your voice are usually enough to distract a puppy from his own curiosity.

Soft clothing articles like sneakers, leather shoes, socks and other assorted undergarments are almost always irresistible to puppies. To a puppy, these are play items and if they are left lying around, your pups will think they are there for his or her enjoyment. It’s important to keep things off the floor as they are fair game to your pups.  If you get your puppies some dog bones to chew on and they will be more likely to leave your stuff alone. Puppy proof your home for your new husky puppies in the same way as you would for a toddler aged child.
