Why Do Husky Puppies Cry At Night?
Like most puppies, husky puppies that are crying at night are probably scared, lonely or just adjusting to their new surroundings. Expect your husky puppies to cry at night in the beginning. Our husky puppies cried for about for a week straight before they were accustomed to their new home. Crate training your husky puppies from the start will help with their crying at night.
Most puppies are born into large litters and they are always there to comfort each other. Separating puppies can be a traumatic experience. This is especially evident at night. We brought home two husky puppies at once, so their togetherness actually helped with the crying at night. They would snuggle close together in their crate and after about a week they were quiet at night.
Getting your puppies a crate is a really good idea. A crate, which is another term for a dog cage, becomes your puppy’s home. They will safe inside their crate and this will help with the crying at night. Crate training your husky puppies will also instill independence and it gives them a sense of domain.
When you first introduce your husky puppies to their crate they may not embrace their new space right away. You have to remember that your puppies are used to having many warm bodies to snuggle up against and being in a crate can be a little lonely. If you are not interested getting two puppies at once then you may want to consider getting some type of stuffed animal to put inside your puppies crate. This will become a a sort of surrogate body for them and it will help them feel more comfortable at night. If you find that your puppies are ripping the stuffed animal apart or urinating on it, you ‘ll probably want to remove it from their carte. Tearing something apart or urinating on an object is a sign of dominace and it’s your puppy’s way of telling you, “I don’t want this in hear.”
All in all your husky puppies will eventually get used to their new environment and the crying at night will eventually stop.

Toys For Husky Puppies
So we decided that we wanted to get our husky puppies some new toys. So what are some good toys for husky puppies? Kong Dog Toys are probably one of the most well made and reasonably priced line of dog toys available. We have bought these toys for our husky puppies in the past, so we knew that they would enjoy them. We decided to get them the Classic Kong Dog Toy and the Kong Flyer Disc. They are two different types of dog toys and our pups just them!
The Classic Kong Dog Toy is absolutely incredible. The toy is made out durable rubber and it’s great for chewing. What’s even better is that the toy has a little place where you put a small dog treat and your dog has to chew and chew until they get at the treat. An ingenious idea that truly keeps our husky puppies busy for hours!

The Kong Flyer Disc is also a really great dog toy that I would recommend getting for your pups. Puppies are full of energy and they love to run and play. The Kong flyer disc is a great toy to play a retrieval game with your husky puppies. It’s not really made for tugging, but you’ll want to curtail your puppies tugging anyway otherwise it could lead to aggressive behavior. Not that a little tug hear or there is out of the question, but constant tugging can lead to you puppies thinking that they are in charge. You do not want your puppies thinking that they are dominant. Dominant puppies could lead to much bigger problems when they are older.
Kong dog toys are made with durable rubber and they can withstand some of the toughest chewers. These toys are also very reasonably priced so you won’t feel like you over spent when you leave the pet store. The toys can also be ordered online which is extremely convenient.

Adopt Husky Puppies In Your Area
If you are thinking about adopting husky puppies you should really check out adoptapet.com I know I have talked about this website before, but it really is a great resource that can you find your forever friend.

It doesn’t matter where you are located. All you need is an Internet connection and you are in business. What’s even better, is the site allows to search for a puppy or dog by breed. A friend of mine wanted to adopt two husky puppies, so I told her about this site. All she had to do was type in the word “Siberian Husky”, type in area she wanted to search and her zip code. She just clicked a button and within in seconds she had access to dozens of huskies who were looking for new home.
Another great feature of the website is that it gives you a pretty detailed background on each puppy or dog that is available for adoption. It is very important that you know where a puppy or dog is coming from before you decide to adopt. You should be aware of their previous owners, living conditions and behaviors. Unfortunately some animals are coming from poor conditions and they may not be suitable for all potential adopters. Many times homeless animals have been abused and they may need a lot of extra love and attention when entering a new home. They may not be good with children or other animals so it’s important to know these things before adopting an animal. A large percentage of the puppies and dogs that end up in shelters don’t have any of these issues.
If you are considering adopting husky puppies or an adult husky it would wise to know their background. Huskies are a large breed and they do require exercise and grooming, so they are not the right dog for everyone.
